About Me

Let's be clear right from the beginning. I am not what you might call a well-adjusted or even sane man in our society. However, I am, in my own belief, a highly effective healer. In all honesty, it took me over a decade of watching the results of my work with people to fully accept it myself. No one has doubted me as deeply as I have. I have decided so many times to stop working as a healer. It was because of some judgment I was making about myself and the challenges I have in my personal life. Yet, each time I was ready to pack it in, I would get to be part of saving someone's life in some way. Every time my self-judgment got strong enough for me to consider going to a normal job, I would experience a breakthrough with someone that would often make me tear up in bed that night. People kept thanking me for reaching them when they thought it was impossible.

I had to firstly push my ego aside and realize that I was born to do this. That is why I am guided. I have so many times in prayer thanked God for allowing me to be part of another huge breakthrough with a person in their life. What an honor. I even used to apologize that I doubted the instrument I was allowed to play so many times.

I no longer do that. I accept it and I own it. I feel grateful to get to play this role in life. I hope to touch as many lives as I can before my time is done. I am also now aware that my personal suffering, which has been immense, has prepared me in every way. I would never wish another soul to get so desperately trapped in a personal hell quite like I did. The fact that there are others like me scares me. The fact that there are others that suffer far deeper saddens me. I stand in awe of the people that, in desperation, stand before me, and the things they take on inspire me.

My pain has helped teach me to connect to things. It's taught me to understand the dark reaches of the mind and the desperation of the cold heart. It was actually in a desperate state, crawling around in my dark room one night, that I made a promise to myself: "If I ever get out of this hell, I will find others like you."

It certainly was not my finest moment, yet I have never forgotten that promise. I have been fulfilling that promise for 13 years. I now find other people like me. People that just needed that one ounce of courage, that one ounce of acceptance, honesty, and nonjudgmental presence. I am hoping to facilitate that one ounce of love that you need to shift.

In my coaching work, I only work with people that are deeply hurt, disturbed, or really battling at that moment in time. I know it's a controversial statement. I follow my passion.

If I was totally blunt when someone met me and asked about my vocation, I would reply that I was in spiritual crisis management. It's often the best feeling to get a client to a point where they no longer fit with me. The highest joy I know is telling someone I can't help them anymore. I always joke with them that it's time to get a life coach or go see a conventional therapist. There is so much you can still get from working with someone, I will say. If they are feeling courageous, they are no longer in crisis, and they are beginning to see the gift in what has happened in their lives, I am done with them. It's even better when they now get how a new purpose has been born. And a purposeful individual is unstoppable. My favorite quote is, "There is nothing a man cannot do if he knows why." It always sits with me.

I help facilitate the proverbial spaces of death and rebirth in a person's life. And I love it.

Despite my numerous faults, I feel I have accomplished this to an impeccable degree. When it comes to how I learned to help people that do not seem reachable, it is a mystery even unto myself. I feel like it might be a hybrid between my love for God, the wisdom I learned in my own desperate hell, and the promise I made myself that night.

I now often get given an inner message and even instructions about what is going on with an individual when they come to see me. I often know how to help them straight away. As a side joke, I can only do it with people I don't know well. How frustrating.

Fear has an intelligence to it; trauma has a predictable nature to it. All these things can finally be accessed and made to feel safe. I never wanted someone messing around in my head when they couldn't even understand.

I would be honored to try to help you. I would be extra excited if you think you can't be helped. My heart, still after all these years, lies with the black sheep of the world, the way-showers, the mind expanders... the ones that are taking strain.

I hope I can be a light in the darkness when you most need it. I wish I had one back in the day.

I was the founder of the Mad Hatters Contemporary Shamanic Community. I am the co-founder of Wake Circle. I have spent my life studying combat arts and am a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Call me. Let me help you find a way to feel safe and assess what needs to be done. Before that, you cannot even begin.
