MDMA Assisted Therapy-PTSD

MDMA as an Emotional Truth Serum

Personally, I feel that MDMA functions as an emotional truth serum. Many of my clients choose to record their sessions so they can reflect later in privacy, listening to the clear answers they gave during the experience. They treat it as an oracle of emotional truth.

In my experience, these insights are rarely wrong. During the sessions, you remain highly lucid and fully aware of what is happening—this is my guarantee. It is a conscious altered state, but it does not trigger fear.

MDMA calms the part of the brain that deceives us, eliminating any sense of overwhelm. Clients are often shocked by their responses during therapy, simply because of the honesty that emerges. It’s not a frightening or psychedelic experience but one of profound wonder as you hear yourself give answers to questions you’ve responded to differently countless times before. This extraordinary medicine allows us to answer with the openness of a child. I have seen it transform so many people, some of whom had been on healing journeys for decades. It’s the medicine that finally healed me.

Despite being a plant medicine facilitator for over a decade, MDMA was the missing puzzle piece that brought me peace. My childhood trauma was significant, and this therapy became the key to my freedom.

In these personal sessions, you’ll be fully aware of what you’re saying, but the ego will be out of the way. This means your responses will come from a place of deep self-honesty, and the answers you give will be transformative.

Additionally, when couples do this therapy together, I often witness honest communication for the first time—something that can transform entire families.

Additional Information

At the heart of our practice in Johannesburg, South Africa, lies a groundbreaking approach to healing and personal growth: MDMA-assisted therapy. This innovative therapeutic modality harnesses the remarkable potential of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, to facilitate profound emotional and psychological breakthroughs. When used in a carefully controlled and therapeutic setting, MDMA significantly enhances emotional openness and empathy, allowing individuals and couples to explore deep-seated issues with greater clarity and compassion.

Recent scientific research underscores the efficacy of MDMA-assisted therapy. Studies published in Nature Medicine and The Journal of Psychopharmacology show that MDMA can reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression by fostering a safe, nurturing environment for introspection and emotional healing. The therapy not only helps individuals confront and process challenging emotions but also promotes the development of healthier relational patterns.

Our approach goes beyond the MDMA sessions themselves. Integral to our process are coaching and talking sessions before and after the ceremonies. These provide essential support, helping you to prepare mentally and emotionally for the experience, and to integrate the insights gained into your daily life. This comprehensive approach ensures the therapeutic journey is both transformative and enduring, offering lasting benefits and deeper self-understanding.

Whether you’re seeking healing from past trauma or aiming to strengthen your relationship, MDMA-assisted therapy provides a compassionate and effective pathway. We invite you to embark on this journey with us, where every step is guided with care, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to your well-being.

Your Facilitator

I have been guiding people into psychedelic states in ceremonies and therapy sessions for over 12 years, using Ayahuasca, psilocybin, San Pedro, and MDMA. Before that, I worked with people, teaching astral travel and dream workshops (Out of Body Travel)—experiences that have come naturally to me since childhood. I discovered the power of psychedelics later in life, both personally and professionally.

I have seen many lives saved and, sadly, some lost. I have witnessed the wonders of the human heart that still move me to tears. I have seen miracles—miracles of molecules. For the first ten years, the majority of my work was with plant-based medicine. But my biggest personal breakthrough came with MDMA. Complex PTSD was a permanent part of my life until this point. Now, I use my experience of holding space for others in these deep states to guide me. My dedication to research and application of a gentler, more emotional approach was born from my own healing.

On a more personal note, my life-changing experience with MDMA as a teenager profoundly influenced me. It was the first time I saw and felt, without a doubt, how love holds it all together. I believe my experience with MDMA is a major reason I chose to help others heal what seemed unchangeable. This is where my heart opened.

This inspired an endless pursuit of deeper scientific understanding. I don’t see science as opposed to God, but in alignment with Him. I remember thinking, if knowing the chemical structure of MDMA could change a generation, what could we accomplish if we ever knew the divine keys of the hypothalamus?

I was the founder of The Mad Hatters Shamanic Organization and co-founder of Wake Circle. I have also been coaching for 13 years, focusing on people experiencing extremes: PTSD, CPTSD, and mental disorders like anxiety and bipolar disorder.

Excerpt from the New York Times

About 200 patients in the most recent Lykos clinical trial underwent three sessions—eight hours each—where about half were given MDMA and half a placebo, according to a report published in Nature Medicine. The sessions were four weeks apart, and patients also had three appointments to prepare for the therapy, along with nine sessions to integrate what they learned.

The most recent drug trial found that more than 86% of those who received MDMA experienced a measurable reduction in the severity of their symptoms. About 71% of participants improved enough that they no longer met the criteria for a PTSD diagnosis.
